Mufti Yaks (real name Abdullateef Muhammad Maiyaki), a motivational and inspirational speaker, has been reported to have passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024. The cause of death has yet to be confirmed.
Globally renowned Muslim scholar and former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Professor Isa Ali Pantami, have joined the Nigerian Muslim community in mourning the passing of the young motivational and inspirational speaker, Abdul Latif Miyaki, famously known as Mufti Yaks.
According to his website, Mufti Yaks was very passionate about kids and children who find themselves in homes where there is no love and good family relationship. He was granted an award for being an exemplary inspirational speaker.
Mufti Yaks Death & Cause
Mufti Yaks passed away on Friday night, May 31, 2024, while at National Hospital in Abuja. The Janaza prayer will take place at 10 am in Fadipke, Dutsen Kura Gwari, Minna, Niger State.
His family, friends, and associates have expressed their grief on social media. In a condolence message posted on all his social media handles, mourned the passing of his protege. He said, “I’m saddened by the news of the death of the young Abdul Latif Miyaki, Mufti Yaks this morning. He was a very talented young lad trying to spread goodness. May Allah Almighty forgive him, accept his good deeds, and grant him the highest ranks of Paradise. Aameen.”
Similarly, Prof Pantami described his death as a great loss! According to him, “Inna lil Laahi wa inna ilaiHi Raajiun. Just heard that our beloved son, Abdullateef Aliyu Maitaki, popularly known as MUFTI YAKS passed away. What a great loss! May the Almighty Allah admit him into Jannatul Firdaus.”
Ibrahim H. Yunusa expressed his sadness, saying, “Inna lil Laahi wa inna ilaiHi Raajiun! O ALLAH, forgive him and have mercy on him, heal and pardon him, honor his shelter, replace him with a better house than his house, a better welcome from his family, enter him in paradise (sic), and protect him from the torment of fire. Amin.”
